My name is Levi Wooten. I am a 4th Dan Black Belt and I have been studying Martial Arts since 1995. I have achieve the title of Renshi meaning polished instructor in Goju Ryu. I have had the opportunity to train under several different Black Belts from multiple styles. Over the years I have learned one major lesson. Be the best that you can be.
Be The Best You Can Be
This means that you as a student or instructor, have to become the best that you can be. This is different for each and every student. Some can excel at kata, weapons, form, kicks, punches, sparring, or anything else, but you have to have given it the best that you have to offer. Self correction is the best form of learning. When you notice that you have done something incorrectly and you take the time to correct your mistake, you have achieved this.
